Re-Tec Patch Lining Training Course

The Re-Tec patch lining training course is a half day 'hands on' training course which is held at our Chester depot. There is a maximum of 4 x operatives per session. We keep the numbers small so it's more concentrated and nobody gets left behind.

The course covers everything the beginner needs to know to get started installing patch repairs on site. The course covers;

  • Selection of equipment
  • Packer selection - right packer for the right job
  • Material - Contents of the patch kit
  • Understanding of the durability & capabilities of patch lining repair
  • WRC testing - life expectancy of the material
  • Setting out on site
  • Packer preparation
  • Mixing resin, wetting out fibreglass matting
  • Push into place & inflate
  • Working & curing times
