Does it work with a small compressor?
Does it work with a small compressor?
You don’t need a huge compressor for the Tubegun Pocketjet. A small compressor is enough, as long as it delivers a supply pressure of 4–10 bar and a minimum air consumption of around 230 litres per minute (about 8 CFM). That’s all it takes for smooth operation.
Can it be used for underground or above-ground pipes?
Can it be used for underground or above-ground pipes?
Absolutely! The Tubegun Pocketjet is designed for flexibility, so it works on both underground and above-ground pipes. Whether you’re lining indoor pipes inside a building or carrying out outdoor repairs, it handles both scenarios effortlessly.
Does it work with all inversion liners?
Does it work with all inversion liners?
We recommend using Ultraflex Multibend Liner for easy continuous conversion. Ultraflex Multibend Liner can give a perfect finish on 90-degree bends.
Please note: Polyester resin can be used with this liner; however, we recommend that you test the liner with your resin before use to confirm compatibility. It has been used with polyester, epoxy, and silicate, and the coating is unaffected, but different resins have variants, so this needs to be clarified before use.
Is there a pressure release valve?
Is there a pressure release valve?
Yes, the system includes a built-in pressure release valve for safety. It protects the bladder from overpressure, ensuring safe operation and giving you full control during installation. Even if the pressure spikes, the system manages it automatically.
What type of pipe can it be used on?

The Tubegun Pocketjet works with plastic, clay, cast iron, and even concrete pipes. As long as the pipe surface is clean and prepped, the inversion process runs smoothly regardless of material.
Can it handle dimension changes in the pipe?
Can it handle dimension changes in the pipe?
Ultraflex Dimension Change Liner works really well with the TubeGun. This super soft inversion liner can be used on pipes that change from 100mm to 150mm. The liner is a 4mm felt that will give a 3mm structural finish, even after the diameter change.
Please note: Polyester resin can be used with this liner; however, we recommend that you test the liner with your resin before use to confirm compatibility. It has been used with polyester, epoxy, and silicate, and the coating is unaffected, but different resins have variants, so this needs to be clarified before use.
Can it be used in tight spaces?

One of its main advantages is compactness. The Tubegun Pocketjet is lightweight and handheld, making it perfect for tight spaces or indoor jobs where larger inversion drums wouldn’t fit. You can easily carry it, position it, and start working.
Is there a restriction on liner length?
Is there a restriction on liner length?
There’s no strict restriction on liner length. While it’s optimized for shorter installations around 15 metres, it can handle longer liners if your compressor has enough power.
