150mm Metex Buffalo watertight non-return flood defence valve. Stainless steel door also discourages rats and rodents from entering a property via the drainage system.

Positioned securely into a manhole chamber, the valve works by preventing a back flow of waste water into a property by effectively sealing the chamber outlet in a flood situation. Suitable for use in clay, PVC and cast iron pipe systems to suit installation within either an outlet or inlet of a drainage chamber.

  • Fits all clay, PVC and cast iron pipes 150MM / 6" in diameter
  • Stainless steel flap door discourages rodents from entering the property. The flap allows rats to leave the property but prevents them from coming back up the sewer or drain pipe.
  • Easy to install with a simple push fit design. The rubber fins secure the valve in position in the drain inlet or outlet in the inspection chamber, without the need for any tools. 
  • Effectively prevents backflow of sewage and noxious fumes during flooding
  • Removable and reusable
